The UGA Compliance Office has worked in partnership with Cornerstone Sports Consulting to strengthen the structure of its Agent & Advisor program for football student-athletes. Cornerstone offers assistance in educating and preparing student-athletes for a potential career in the NFL.
UGA works directly with Cornerstone founder Joe Mendes. As a former NFL vice president of football operations, personnel scout, director of college scouting, director player operations and vice president for player operations, Mendes brings 25 years of NFL experience to Cornerstone and UGA.
Through a detailed educational program, Mendes educates UGA’s football student-athletes and their families on the NFL scouting process in addition to the agent recruiting, interview and selection process. Mendes does not recommend agents.
