Playing and Practice Season Declaration

The first competition (game or scrimmage) shall not be held prior to September 7, or the first day of classes for the fall term, whichever is earlier.
The first practice shall not be held prior to September 7, or the first day of classes for the fall term, whichever is earlier.
A week is any consecutive seven-day period to be determined at the institution’s discretion. Once the institution determines the seven-day period that shall constitute its week, it shall not change that designation for the remainder of the playing season segment.
