Staff Complimentary Ticket Form

As an employee at the University of Georgia Athletic Association, I understand that I am required to adhere to all NCAA, Southeastern Conference and institutional rules, policies and procedures. Per NCAA Bylaws, I am also aware that as a current institutional staff member I am subject to the following guidelines related to the use of my complimentary tickets:

1. I may not leave at will-call or provide directly or indirectly, any hard tickets or complimentary tickets to prospective student-athletes, their parent(s), guardian(s), relative(s), or friends;

2. I may not leave at will-call or provide directly or indirectly, any hard tickets or complimentary tickets to currently enrolled student-athletes, their parent(s), guardian(s), relative(s), or friends;

3. I may not leave at will-call or provide directly or indirectly, any hard tickets or complimentary tickets to high school, two-year college or club coaches, individuals associated with prospective student-athletes, their parent(s), guardian(s), relative(s), or friends;

4. I may not sell my hard or complimentary tickets, or trade my hard or complimentary tickets for anything of value;

5. I understand that an “individual associated with a prospective student-athlete” is any person who maintains (or directs others to maintain) contact with a prospective student-athlete, a prospective student-athlete’s family members, or coaches at any point during a prospective student-athlete’s participation in football, and whose contact is directly or indirectly related to either the prospective student-athlete’s athletic skills and abilities or the prospective student-athlete’s recruitment by or enrollment in an NCAA institution. This definition includes, but is not limited to, family members, handlers, personal trainers and coaches. An individual who meets this definition retains such status during the enrollment of the prospective student-athlete at the institution.

6. I understand that if I provide hard tickets or complimentary admissions to any of the persons listed above, or sell or trade my tickets, that such action may constitute a violation of NCAA rules and institutional directives, which may subject me to corrective measures including, but not limited to termination, loss of complimentary ticket privileges, suspension or other sanctions as determined by Athletics Association senior staff.

7. I understand that I am responsible for my complimentary tickets from the time I accept them until the time they are redeemed. If they end up being sold or otherwise in the stream of commerce, I will be responsible. I may always turn them back in if I do not wish to use them.

By signing below, I agree to uphold all principles and applications of NCAA rules related to complimentary admissions. Further, I certify that I have read and understand the preceding conditions regarding my receipt and use of complimentary tickets. I agree to abide by all NCAA rules and realize that failure to do so may result in a NCAA violation and personal sanctions.

As a reminder, student-athletes may receive medical treatment and attend academic appointments on a required day off. These activities do not count toward daily or weekly hour limits (CARA).

Reminder: Student-athletes may not receive payment from any source for his/her complimentary admissions and may not exchange or assign them for any item of value. Also, family members and friends who have been assigned tickets may not sell or exchange them either!

With the NFL season kicking off this week, remember that all sports wagering activities are prohibited for all student-athletes and UGA Athletics Staff. This includes fantasy football, survivor pools, etc.
