In order to work a camp at the University of Georgia all UGA employees who work camp must submit this application, consent to a background check sent to an email provided by you (via UGA Human Resources), and complete the camp training below.
TRAINING
As of the Summer of 2017, the University of Georgia has enacted a Minors on Campus Policy pursuant to guidelines released by the University System of Georgia. This policy requires all camp staff members to be provided training in the following areas:
- State of Georgia Mandatory Reporting Guidelines, including child abuse awareness and prevention; and
- UGA’s Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy
- Camp Staff Code of Conduct.
