BY ELECTRONICALLY SIGNING THIS STATEMENT, THE STUDENT-ATHLETE AND EMPLOYER AGREE THAT:
• In general, the student-athlete should be treated in the same manner as other employees/interns performing the same job functions.
• The student-athlete employee/intern can receive occasional nominal benefits such as reasonable, local transportation and food ONLY if it is offered to all employees/interns performing the job and is part of the function of the job and has nothing to do with athletic ability/reputation.
• The student-athlete and their friends/relatives may not receive any remuneration for the value or utility that the student-athlete may have for the business because of the publicity, reputation, fame or personal following she or she has obtained because of athletics ability.
• The student-athlete is to be compensated only for work actually performed.
• If applicable, the student-athlete is to be compensated at a rate commensurate with the going rate in this locality for similar services.
• The employer and the student-athlete will make copies of all documents, earning statements and other records related to this employment available for review and inspection by an authorized representative of the NCAA, the Southeastern Conference or the University of Georgia.
• The student-athlete and/or employer is required to submit copies of earning statements within one month of the employment start date and as requested thereafter.

As a reminder, student-athletes may receive medical treatment and attend academic appointments on a required day off. These activities do not count toward daily or weekly hour limits (CARA).

Reminder: Student-athletes may not receive payment from any source for his/her complimentary admissions and may not exchange or assign them for any item of value. Also, family members and friends who have been assigned tickets may not sell or exchange them either!

With the NFL season kicking off this week, remember that all sports wagering activities are prohibited for all student-athletes and UGA Athletics Staff. This includes fantasy football, survivor pools, etc.
